Child Care Director - Before and After School Care

Overview

Child Care, Before and After Director - Part Time. Columbia Association’s School Age Services program operates before and after school care in 20 elementary schools in Howard County. We are seeking program aides, teacher and MSDE School Age Qualified Directors.

• Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans meeting the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children.
• Assisting with cleaning and maintaining a healthy, safe environment, promoting positive, open communication with families, children, and staff, and supervising, training and counseling Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Program Aides.

Open positions include morning shifts (6:45am - 9:15am) and afternoon shifts (3:00pm - 6:00pm) and will end the last day of school in June 2025. Summer positions are available in camps and the following school year.

Positions are part-time and offer benefits including free CA membership, 401K contributions, and discounts on CA programs and classes. The pay range is $17.00 to $23.15 per hour depending on qualifications. Part-time benefits include a free Fit & Play membership, Wellness benefits w/Perks and some paid leave.
