Company OverviewVerbal Beginnings is a BHCOE-accredited, BCBA-owned autism therapy provider serving children diagnosed with autism.
Responsibilities- Act as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership on growth planning and market expansion.
- Own and execute the organization’s Business Development strategy across all programs and regions.
- Build, maintain, and grow referral relationships with clinicians, schools, community organizations, and professional networks.
- Develop scalable outreach strategies, referral tools, and partner education materials.
- Track referral source performance and identify opportunities to deepen, expand, or course‑correct relationships.
- Serve as an external representative of Verbal Beginnings to key stakeholders.
- Partner with Marketing to oversee inbound lead generation across paid search, paid social, organic digital channels, and website conversion paths.
- Ensure lead quality, volume, and flow align with organizational capacity and growth goals.
- Collaborate with Intake leadership to optimize lead routing, prioritization, and handoff workflows.
- Identify friction points in the digital‑to‑intake journey and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with agencies and freelancers supporting lead generation.
- Own top‑of‑funnel and mid‑funnel performance metrics such as lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, qualification trends, and referral source yield.
- Analyze trends across channels to inform investment decisions and growth strategy.
- Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with Operations to align growth strategies with staffing, geography, and service availability.
- Serve as a connective leader across Business Development, Marketing, Intake, and Operations.
- Help define clear ownership, workflows, and accountability across teams.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in business development, growth, marketing, lead generation or revenue operations, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
- Demonstrated success managing both relationship‑based growth and data‑driven lead generation.
- Strong working knowledge of CRMs and lead management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and digital acquisition workflows.
- Experience partnering with marketing teams on paid and organic acquisition strategies.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into strategy and execution.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast‑growing organization.
