Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects, or discrepancies
- Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs declarations
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing products
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping and receiving issues
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift objects and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software - Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
