Job Description

Weyerhaeuser Montana Wood Products is offering a $3,000 hiring bonus (additional details provided during interview/offer). This position is located in Columbia Falls, MT at the MDF facility.

The Storeroom Clerk is an hourly, non‑exempt position reporting to the Storeroom Buyer/Material Manager. The role involves processing receipts, issuing parts, accepting deliveries, managing outbound shipments, working with vendor managed inventories, maintaining storeroom housekeeping projects, and performing regular audits to ensure inventory count compliance. The clerk must provide excellent customer service, troubleshoot parts issues, and manage inventory control/auditing.

Hourly Pay Rate $24.00.

Responsibilities
  • Process receipts, issue parts, accept deliveries, and process outgoing shipments.
  • Work with vendor managed inventories, suppliers, and manage storeroom housekeeping projects.
  • Maintain cyclical and bulk inventories and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory count compliance.
  • Provide strong customer service, troubleshoot parts issues, and manage inventory control/auditing.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • College degree in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as operating conditions require.
  • Advanced computer skills – knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed records and document hazardous conditions with remedial action.
  • Experience with parts and equipment knowledge preferred. Additional Information
