Overview
Steel Dynamics
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and repair of mill stands, chocks, bearings, guides, and mill equipment. Coordinate work with other Stand Maintenance Technicians.
- Daily inspection, repair, and rebuilding of mill stands
- Provide mechanical support on down days
Required
- Excellent safety record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience
- Print reading
- Rigging experience
- Cutting/welding experience
- General computer skills
- Great attendance record
- Ability to work with others
- Mobile equipment experience
- Overhead crane certification
- Hydraulic experience
- Good mechanical background
