Project description
This opening is for an ADAS Domain Controller project for a prestigious OEM, where Luxoft is working with the OEM teams to deliver a next-generation Platform solution based on AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and QNX working together as a system interacting with a host of cameras, ultrasound sensors, internal and external Radars. Luxoft is collaborating on Signal and Service Management, Diagnostics, SW Update, Vehicle Config, QNX/Middleware and Software Architecture areas with the OEM directly.
Luxoft is expected to delivery quality and expert support in the above areas, drive topics independently, liaise with other OEM stakeholders to remove blockers. The ideal candidate needs to have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver, never give up attitude and a self-starter who can think of out-of-the-box solutions.
The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs.
- Define, design, develop and deliver the software for ADAS application across QNX, Adaptive Autosar and Classic Autosar sub-systems
- Understand complex user requirements and decompose them into functional, system, and detailed software requirements and architecture
- Write work packages and detailed technical work based on the user requirements, identifying and recording technical risks and assumptions made in the software development life-cycle
- Compliance with the standards and regulations such as UNECE, FUSA, ASPICE, etc
- Work with the HW samples to validate and deliver a working product
- Work with multiple teams and suppliers for dependency management
- Assist and contribute to the generation of targets and verification methods that are driven by Customer, Function Requirements and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team, to mentor junior SW engineers and to clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
- Engage with global Chapters in contributing and adhering to the Software architecture and development BoK
- Agree with teams on testing scope and Quality roles and responsibilities
- Integration of Open source components and licensing requirements as needed
- Own system-level configurations, auto-generate code from models and automate testing wherever possible
- Excellent communication skills and liaise with the wider global teams within JLR
- Participate in organizational growth and business strategies
Must have
- 10-14 years of experience in SW design and development. Minimum 5+ years in the automotive domain. Overall understanding of system architecture at a wider level Excellent working experience in various platforms such as QNX, Linux, Adaptive Autosar, preferably in the ADAS domain Experienced in both configuring and developing the platform software End-to-end working experience in design and development platform components Experienced in programming languages such as C/C++ Hands‑on with tools such as DOORS, TRM, EA, MSOSA, DaVinci, PREEvision, MATLAB, etc Knowledge of ASPICE, FUSA, etc Ability to build and drive high‑performing software teams and work in close partnership with product, architecture and business leadership to achieve an optimum degree of integration and operational synergy.
Excellent communication skills to work with various component owners and suppliers, challenge the delivery strategy and train the teams towards a fool‑proof integrated system Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR Electronics & Telecommunication OR Electrical Engineering related technical field OR equivalent
Working knowledge of a S/W intensive complex JLR program involving multiple suppliers and stakeholders globally Good to have experience with NVIDIA Thor, Aurix Worked in the Agile framework Experienced in SW integration of various components across multiple layers and platforms Track record of challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvements to improve S/W quality, and time‑to‑market Provided new ideas and submitted research proposals ahead of production standards Experience in giving technical guidance to a team of Technical SW experts and SW Architects (India, Germany, UK, US) High‑quality awareness, Automotive SPICE, CMM Be self‑directed to create innovative and alternative solutions Ability to deliver presentations and efficiently communicate to senior executives both internally and externally
