Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is recruiting for Occupational Therapists II who perform a wide variety of individual therapy programs for the occupational rehabilitation of patients. Duties include assessing, planning and implementing physical, socio- cultural and self-care programs; observing and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment, suggesting treatment changes and conferring with physicians and other staff regarding patients' treatment and progress; teaching daily living skills such as muscle re-education, hygiene, nutrition, communication and problem solving with educational subjects directed at restoring and maintaining the patient's highest level of functioning.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.

Shift Availability:ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Applicants must possess all of the following:

License:
Must possess and maintain a valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (California Board of Occupational Therapy).

Experience: One (1) year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Certification: Must possess and maintain Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Experience in an inpatient acute care and/or experience in an inpatient acute rehab facility is highly desired.
