Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist works independently to greet and check in all visitors and provide front‑office administrative support within a manufacturing environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30‑minute lunch. Some overtime may be required. Business casual attire is required, along with a professional demeanor and the ability to work with diverse personalities.

Primary Functions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visitor‑ready check‑in area
  • Answer, screen, and forward calls using the Microsoft Teams phone system
  • Greet visitors, ensure proper sign‑in, and direct them to the appropriate staff or office
  • Ensure reception desk coverage and main phone line availability during business hours
  • Conduct brief safety orientations for visitors as applicable
  • Manage office supply inventory, purchasing, and inventory spreadsheets
  • Coordinate service calls for office equipment
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail for administration and shop buildings
  • Prepare outgoing mail and shipments (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.)
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, data entry, and scanning
  • Assist the billing department with document collection and billing worksheets
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as approved by supervision
Experience / Skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Professional attitude, appearance, and strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

    Ability to independently perform clerical and office work
  • Proficient with multi‑line phone systems, computers, copiers, and office equipment
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask
  • Team‑oriented with the ability to work across multiple departments
