Overview

LIVE HAUL CDL DRIVER – LAS ANIMAS at JBS USA.

This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following biosecurity protocols.

• 90% Livestock movements: loading and unloading swine
• 10% Other duties as assigned (feed haul, moving equipment, etc.)
• Communication with various departments
• Local travel – approx. 30 mile local farm radius

• Valid non‑expired Class A CDL
• Live haul experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Lift/carry heavy objects approximately 60 lbs
• Constant walking, bending, pushing, pulling
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
• Team oriented, self‑motivated and positive individual with strong work ethic
• Ability to efficiently multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions

• 1 year driving experience preferred
• Animal handling experience preferred but not required; training provided
• Ability to work in tight spaces; trailer compartment
