• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosing failures and deficiencies, and performing necessary corrections, including offsite road repairs/service calls.
• Completing daily checklists for proper operation of the unit being operated.
• Ensuring unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicating any problems or issues immediately.
• Complete and submit all associated paperwork for tracking PM schedules.
• Conduct Safety Checks & Annual Vehicle Inspections in accordance with provincial & federal laws.
• Ensuring equipment is properly parked in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements.
• Ensuring work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.
• Performing other assignments as assigned by management.
• Understanding Clean Compliance Standard.

• 5-7 years of diesel engine experience.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Versed in all aspects including electrical, computer, ECMs, fuel, air systems, ABS, hydraulic systems, engines, etc.
• Proficiency in diagnostic, repair, and maintenance of heavy duty forklift, roll off truck, forklifts, pick up trucks, box trucks, tractors, and tankers.
• Proficiency in tooling and equipment diagnostic, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.
