Senior Security Specialist - Risk Mitigation - 648

We are seeking a Sr. Security Specialist - Risk Mitigation for our Broomfield, CO or Brooklyn Park, MN location. This role supports the implementation and operational delivery of risk mitigation programs across the organization. This role focuses on executing security assessments, monitoring travel and events, supporting executive protection measures, and assisting with social media and brand monitoring. The position works closely with cybersecurity, insider risk, and other security teams to help integrate risk assessments and protective measures, contributing to the organization’s overall resilience against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Key Employee and Executive Risk Mitigation:
    Conduct physical and cyber risk assessments for executives and key personnel under guidance from senior security leadership.
  • Assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies and security protocols. Support delivery of security awareness training for executives and high‑risk personnel.
  • Event Assessments & Monitoring:
    Evaluate security risks for corporate events, conferences, and other gatherings. Assist in real‑time monitoring and response during events.
  • Social Media & Brand Monitoring:
    Monitor social media channels for potential threats or risks to key personnel and the organization. Support ongoing brand surveillance and elevate concerns as needed.
  • Emerging Technology & Security Support:
    Assist in evaluating current security technologies and identifying operational improvements. Support research and implementation of new security solutions and tools.
  • Travel

    Risk Management:

    Monitor employee and executive travel and provide alerts on emerging risks.
  • Maintain records of travel‑related incidents and support reporting. Assist in pre‑travel briefings and training for employees regarding geopolitical, health, and cyber risks.
  • Support logistics and coordination for executive travel security, including route analysis and venue assessments.
  • Global Security Assessments:
    Conduct physical site assessments and report findings. Assist in developing company and employee threat profiles.
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • High School/GED minimum
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in corporate investigations, intelligence, or law enforcement liaison roles.
  • Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or workers granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People’s Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
  • Bachelor’s degree: preferably in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of existing security protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CPP, or similar credentials are highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits:

The incentive eligible range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable. The pay range for this role is $80,000 – $105,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
