Armed Security Officer

Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour

Citadel Security USA is seeking a Full-Time Armed Security Officer to support public transit facilities and bus stops in Frisco, CO. This role focuses on public safety, access control, patrol, and facility security. You will provide a visible security presence while riding transit routes, monitoring activity, enforcing site rules, and securing buildings after hours.

This position is ideal for experienced security professionals who are reliable, observant, and comfortable working in a public-facing environment.

• Ride public transit routes between transfer stations to monitor activity and maintain public safety
• Conduct routine patrols of bus stops, platforms, and surrounding areas
• Provide a visible and professional armed security presence
• Enforce site rules and policies, including preventing unauthorized camping on transit property
• Address safety concerns and incidents according to post orders and company procedures
• Secure and lock transit buildings and facilities at the end of service hours
• Observe, document, and report suspicious or unsafe activity
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, transit staff, and the public

• Must meet all state and local requirements to work as an Armed Security Officer in Colorado
• Must be legally authorized to carry an approved firearm while on duty
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed in public environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
