Overview

Advertising Sales Executive is hired on behalf of a fast-growing, trusted local media company with a strong presence across the Southwest. This person will manage an assigned territory in the Denver area
, selling integrated advertising campaigns across print and digital platforms. You’ll join a collaborative team and help local businesses grow through tailored marketing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Sell multimedia advertising solutions across print and digital platforms to local businesses within the Denver territory.
  • Manage an assigned, established sales territory.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and deliver consistent value through marketing solutions.
  • Identify and act on new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in print, radio, TV or digital media advertising sales is a MUST
  • Proven ability to sell to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Strong tenure
  • Hunter, go-getter who is comfortable making cold calls (30-40+ per day)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable being coached and applying feedback to grow professionally
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and communicate the value of marketing solutions
Must-haves
  • Manage and grow a defined book of business within a local sales territory
  • Sell multimedia advertising solutions (print + digital) tailored to client needs
  • Leverage a robust digital sales platform and CRM system
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and deliver consistent value
  • Identify and act on new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Candidates must be familiar with the local market and able to commute to the Denver office as needed. This is a hybrid role with significant time spent selling in the territory; it is not remote.
