Reports To: Merchandising Manager / Golf Operations Team

Position Overview

Glenmoor Country Club is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Part-Time Golf Shop Associate to support daily golf shop and front desk operations during our exciting $36 million clubhouse renovation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys member interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing a high level of service.

This position will play an important role not only during our temporary golf shop operations but also during the transition into our brand-new clubhouse opening in October.

Key Responsibilities Member Services & Front Desk
  • Greet members and guests in a professional, welcoming manner
  • Make and manage tee times using Fore Tees
  • Check members and guests in for play
  • Answer phones and assist with basic member inquiries
Golf Shop & POS Operations
  • Ring up retail purchases accurately using Club Essential POS
  • Assist members with golf shop merchandise
  • Place special orders and communicate with management as needed
Tournament & Event Support
  • Assist with tournaments and events using Golf Genius
  • Help with player check-in, scoring support, and event setup
Merchandising & Inventory Support
  • Assist with receiving merchandise shipments
  • Tag inventory items accurately
  • Help with monthly inventory counts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of Golf Shop, back stock, and front desk areas
Shop Setup & Renovation Transition
  • Assist with setup, organization, and merchandising of the new golf shop when the clubhouse opens in October
  • Help move, organize, and stage inventory during the transition period
Requirements
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with POS systems and technology
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
  • Prior golf shop, retail, or country club experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of golf is a plus
