Schedule: Part-Time | Seasonal
Reports To: Merchandising Manager / Golf Operations Team
Glenmoor Country Club is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Part-Time Golf Shop Associate to support daily golf shop and front desk operations during our exciting $36 million clubhouse renovation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys member interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing a high level of service.
This position will play an important role not only during our temporary golf shop operations but also during the transition into our brand-new clubhouse opening in October.
Key Responsibilities Member Services & Front Desk- Greet members and guests in a professional, welcoming manner
- Make and manage tee times using Fore Tees
- Check members and guests in for play
- Answer phones and assist with basic member inquiries
- Ring up retail purchases accurately using Club Essential POS
- Assist members with golf shop merchandise
- Place special orders and communicate with management as needed
- Assist with tournaments and events using Golf Genius
- Help with player check-in, scoring support, and event setup
- Assist with receiving merchandise shipments
- Tag inventory items accurately
- Help with monthly inventory counts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Golf Shop, back stock, and front desk areas
- Assist with setup, organization, and merchandising of the new golf shop when the clubhouse opens in October
- Help move, organize, and stage inventory during the transition period
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working with POS systems and technology
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
- Prior golf shop, retail, or country club experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of golf is a plus
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Playing privileges for the employee and one guest on Mondays
