Plumbing Sales Associate

Pay or shift range: $15.16 USD to $16.50 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary: As a Plumbing Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for assisting customers in locating and purchasing plumbing materials, as well as providing product information and recommendations.

Pay for this Role: $15.16 - $16.50 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized store appearance.
• Receive, stock, and price merchandise according to company standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.

Qualifications:

Plumbing experience or plumbing sales experience preferred.

• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Friendly outgoing personality.
• Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving and multi‑tasking skills.
