Pay range per hour: $20.19 - $36.35. Pay is based on several factors that vary by position, including labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.

FDC Inventory Control Technician
Primary FunctionInventory Control Component:
Assists in inventory reporting and cycle counts to achieve desired results in the areas of inventory and dating accuracy/integrity. Conducts routine and scheduled auditing activities/cycle counting to assess location accuracy. Corrects any inventory record inaccuracies and conducts follow‑up audits. Supports and executes the quarterly FDC inventory process. Damage processing will also be a centralized function handled by this team.
- Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness.
- Be available and respond to calls/alerts from the operational teams to address questions and resolve inventory issues in real time.
- Operate power equipment, such as forklifts, for movement and stacking of pallets.
- Maintain product inventory and dating standards in reserve and pick‑slot locations by working aging and location reports on a daily/weekly basis, triggered by physical quantity, location integrity, and expiration date.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts in both reserve and pick‑slot locations.
- Perform inventory adjustments based on damages and quality reports.
- Perform cycle‑count verifications.
- Process and execute disposition of damaged/expired product (destroy, salvage, charity).
- Research and process problem areas or damaged freight.
- Execute return‑to‑stock (RTS) process.
- Manage the recall process.
- Embrace and practice lean approaches, Six Sigma tools, and 5S techniques within the workplace to drive cleanliness and document defects for root‑cause analysis.
- Support projects/initiatives across supply chain to drive new innovations in process design/development.
Reports to the Inventory Control Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35–45 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read, utilize, and comprehend department/product documentation.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects.
- Ability to perform basic data analysis in Excel.
