We are searching for qualified customer service reps with strong personality and people skills to manage pizza orders, handle customer interactions, and support store operations.

Job Requirements

You must be 16 years of age or older.

General

Job Duties For All Store Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders by phone or in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
  • Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Operate computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Work Conditions Exposure To
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
  • Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
  • Good hearing for telephone and verbal interactions.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, maintain quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements Standing

Most tasks are performed standing on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces. Height of work surfaces ranges from 36" to 48".

Walking

For short distances and durations.

Sitting

Paperwork usually completed at a desk or table.

Lifting
  • Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more; unloaded with a hand truck.
  • Deliveries up to 50 pounds (up to 3' x 1.5').
  • Case stacking up to 72" high.
Carrying
  • Large cans (≈3 lbs) carried from workstation to storage.
  • Occasional 30‑lb sauce carry from storage to front of store.
  • Trays of dough carried three at a time (~12 lbs per tray).
Pushing
  • Move trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
  • Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing

Infrequently navigate stairs or a ladder for maintenance tasks.

Stooping/Bending
  • Forward bending at waist required at pizza assembly station.
  • Duration of bending ~30–45 seconds, repeated throughout day.
  • Forward bending also at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouching/Squatting

Occasionally performed to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching
  • Reaching performed continuously in up, down, and forward directions.
  • Reach above 72" to turn ovens, change prices, and lift objects.
  • Reach down to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes.
  • Reach forward for toppings, cleaning, or answering phones.
Hand Tasks
  • Eye-hand coordination essential; continuous hand use required.
  • Use of forearms and wrists frequent while shaping dough and using rolling cutter.
  • Manipulation of pizza peel and cutter needed during cooking and assembly.
  • Pinching required for cardboard box assembly.
  • Ability to grasp cans, phone, cutter, peel, and boxes.
