Kitchen Staff:
This position serves in the kitchen on a short-term or season-long basis as a line cook, working under the direction of the head chef/head cook. Skillset includes: enjoying time in the kitchen supporting food and fellowship; willingness to take direction and learn new things; creativity and efficiency. Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but is not required. This can be an entry or mid-level hourly paid position open to anyone 18 years of age or older.
Food Safety Certification course provided.
This position directly supports the head chef/head cook and is responsible for assisting in kitchen management and menu execution. The assistant head cook may line out staff or close out a shift in the head chef/head cook’s absence. Skillset includes: experience in a kitchen environment and management of kitchen staff; enjoying time in the kitchen supporting food and fellowship; willingness to learn new things;

This position manages counselor-in-training and staff lodge/dish crews to maintain the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the lodge, as well as other shared spaces on property, such as Wyly Lodge and the Boyman Center. The lodge manager is responsible for finishing any work not completed by CIT crews and for maintaining the lodge in its entirety. Skillset includes: experience in managing people, thoroughness, cleanliness.
Food Safety Certification course provided.
This position runs one of the A/U Ranches kitchens during summer programming. Skillset includes: experience in food production for large groups, and/or background in catering or restaurant work; the ability to plan and execute a menu; and the ability to run an efficient team that delivers top notch food quality to groups of up to 200 people. Food Safety Manager Certification required (course and certification provided).
