JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE:
Food Service Worker Substitute
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, Preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
- Colorado Bureau of Investigation background clearance
REPORTS TO:
Food Service Director
JOB GOAL:
To ensure an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness in which students may be served nutritious, attractive meals.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Displays a thorough knowledge of the position.
- Begins work promptly.
- Maintains the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Participates in preparation of meals on all levels.
- Prepares and serves breakfast every day. Stores leftovers and cleans up area. Does breakfast dishes.
- Assists kitchen supervisor(s) when necessary.
- Keeps the dish area clean throughout morning preparation. Cleans equipment.
- Cleans the serving line and helps put food away after lunch is completed.
- Helps clean the kitchen at the end of day, including wiping down the serving area, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Assists in putting food orders away when they come in.
- Can lift up to 40 lbs.
