TITLE:

Food Service Worker Substitute

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, Preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Colorado Bureau of Investigation background clearance

REPORTS TO:

Food Service Director

JOB GOAL:

To ensure an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness in which students may be served nutritious, attractive meals.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Displays a thorough knowledge of the position.
• Begins work promptly.
• Maintains the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Participates in preparation of meals on all levels.
• Prepares and serves breakfast every day. Stores leftovers and cleans up area. Does breakfast dishes.
• Assists kitchen supervisor(s) when necessary.
• Keeps the dish area clean throughout morning preparation. Cleans equipment.
• Cleans the serving line and helps put food away after lunch is completed.
• Helps clean the kitchen at the end of day, including wiping down the serving area, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Assists in putting food orders away when they come in.
• Can lift up to 40 lbs.
