Job Description
RN - Oncology Infusion

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m.
Occasional Friday coverage may be required if needed.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed

Hours:

40 hours/week

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required
- AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion medications as ordered.
- Perform IV starts, port access, and central line care.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and changes in condition.
- Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and symptom management.
- Document all care within Cerner EMR.
- Coordinate care with oncology providers and interdisciplinary team members.
