Oncology Nurse Navigator (Registered Nurse) – 13-week travel assignment in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Seeking an experienced Oncology RN with oncology navigation, infusion nursing, and care coordination skills to join a rural community hospital’s Oncology & Infusion Services. - Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
- Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (4x10 hour shifts) - Guaranteed

Outpatient Oncology / Infusion Clinic (infusion nurse role) - EMR:
Cerner (experience with oncology EMR systems preferred)
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; ability to obtain state licensure if required
- Minimum 2 years of Oncology Nurse Navigator experience or oncology navigation program experience
- Strong background in oncology nursing and outpatient infusion workflows
- ONC (Oncology Nursing Certification) required
- Experience in infusion nursing, IV starts, and port/PICC access preferred
- Excellent patient education, care coordination, and navigation skills
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred
- Provide nurse navigation and care coordination for oncology patients across diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship phases
- Deliver patient education on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and oral chemotherapy monitoring
- Collaborate with oncologists, infusion nurses, multidisciplinary teams, and community resources to streamline care
- Support infusion clinic operations, including IV starts, port/PICC access, and chemotherapy/biotherapy workflows
- Coordinate imaging, specialty referrals, prior authorizations, and transitions of care
- Offer psychosocial support and connect patients to local support services and resources in Pagosa Springs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care coordination notes in Cerner EMR
