• Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado (81147) — Pagosa Springs, CO travel nursing opportunity
• Setting: Outpatient hospital-based infusion center (oncology infusion center)
• Assignment Type: Travel (travel nurse, travel nursing)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (10-hour days); occasional Friday coverage may be required

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,300 - $2,420/week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Colorado or compact state (Colorado nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience (oncology nurse, chemotherapy nurse, infusion RN)
• Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Outpatient infusion experience and port/PICC access experience preferred (infusion therapy, central line care)

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy medications safely and accurately as ordered (chemotherapy administration)
• Perform IV starts, port access, and central line/PICC care
• Operate infusion pumps, monitor infusion therapy, and manage infusion-related complications
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and recognize/treat adverse reactions
• Provide patient education on treatments, side effect management, and symptom control
• Document all care and treatment in Cerner EMR thoroughly and timely
• Coordinate care with oncology providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with treatment preparation, medication verification, lab order checks, and insurance authorization
• Support infusion clinic operations to ensure high-quality outpatient oncology care
