Exciting Opportunity for an Oncology Nurse Navigator!Job Description
- Join a dynamic Oncology and Infusion Services team as a Travel Oncology Nurse Navigator.
- Become the central point of coordination for oncology patients from diagnosis to follow‑up.
- Provide compassionate patient education on diagnosis, treatment plans, and symptom management.
- Collaborate with oncology providers and interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with infusion clinic operations, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Utilize your skills for IV starts and support port/PICC line access as needed.
- Manage chemotherapy/biotherapy treatment workflows and ensure timely care.
- Coordinate imaging, specialty referrals, and prior authorizations efficiently.
- Support oral chemotherapy medication coordination and monitor patient progress.
- Provide essential psychosocial support and connect patients with community resources.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care coordination notes.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Oncology Nurse Navigator experience.
- Strong oncology nursing background with ONC certification.
- Experience working with oncology patients in outpatient or infusion settings.
- Excellent patient education and care coordination skills.
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification.
- Experience in infusion nursing.
- Proficiency in port or PICC access.
- Prior experience in an oncology navigation program.
