As a Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center, you'll play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating the health status of labor and neonate patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to establish and achieve optimal health outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor responses during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
• Promote wellness for mothers through continuous education and support, including breastfeeding assistance.
• Educate mothers about infant care and document all events and education in the patient medical record.
• Communicate patient conditions to physicians and nursing supervisors effectively.
• Collaborate with nursery nurses and assist physicians with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment in the Family Birthing Center unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NRP preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and meet other physical demands of the role.
