Overview
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Oncology Sub-Specialty Experience
Responsibilities- Manage Oncology and Infusion patients including examination, treatment, consultation, follow-up, referral, and ordering labs/imaging.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational or departmental goals and objectives to assure safe, quality care.
- For Nurse Practitioners: minimum of two (2) years oncology subspecialty experience; certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP); possess a DEA license and a Colorado license; hold a current AOCNP certification.
- For Physician Assistants: certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and hold a current Physician Assistant–Certified (PA-C) credential; oncology-specific certification is preferred where applicable; active DEA registration and an unrestricted Colorado license.
