Job Summary and Qualifications

In addition to fulfilling the role of an Adult/Peds Team Transport Nurse, the Chief Flight Nurse serves as a leader, clinical resource person, coach, and facilitator for staff and department operations. The Chief Flight Nurse is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the program and participates in program-wide improvement projects.

What requirements you will need:

* Works autonomously and collaboratively, adhering to HCA Health

ONE Air Life clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures

* with minimal supervision.

* Participates in program-wide projects. Demonstrates problem-solving skills and collaborates with administrative, clinical,

* and vendor employees to identify, plan, and implement changes as needed.

* Attends and participates in weekly Admin Meetings and regularly scheduled Medical Director, Advisors, and Safety

* Committee Meetings. Attends additional meetings as needed/requested.

* Coordinates with Medical Directors and Operations Director to ensure delivery of quality patient care. Supervises the

* provision of care with the Medical Directors. Works with the Clinical Educators in the identification and delivery of

* educational activities for the staff.

* Participates in interviewing, hiring, promotion, and disciplinary matters for direct reports.
