Job SummaryProvides primary health care in the area of Gunnison County Detention Center within established Colorado Department of Health protocols and in collaboration with the county Chief Medical Officer.
Pay RateThe hourly range is from $43.94 to $50.03, depending on experience, plus partial benefits.
This position is 10 hours per week.
The County pays monthly on the last weekday of the month.

Requirements- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Must complete IHS 100 and IHS 700 within the first year of employment.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in Colorado or compact privileges under the multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Experience working in a primary care setting or urgent care setting preferred.
