** A Day in Your Life at MKS:
** As a machinist 1 at MKS Instruments, you will partner with the machine shop team, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and the technical operations teams. You will be responsible for productivity, quality, and meeting the expected daily efficacies. In this role, you will report to the Machine shop supervisor.
** You Will Make an Impact By:*
* • Responsibilities include assignment planning, layout, set-up, operating and making tool adjustments for a variety of major conventional or automatic machines  
• Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions  
• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances  
• May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions
• Setting up and running the Omax water jet  
• Inventory and cycle counting raw materials  
• Unloading Semi Trucks  
• Burning used coolant  
• Issuing raw materials  
• Calling for pickup of recycled metals

* • 1+ year of related experience required  
• Requires machine shop experience, ability to add and subtract decimals

** Compensation and Benefits:*** ### Hourly Pay Range: up to $20 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.* ### Bonus:
