Overview
What You'll Do
  • Printer Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate 3D printers to achieve optimal print quality and consistency.
  • File Preparation: Convert and prepare CAD files for 3D printing, including slicing, support generation, and print parameter optimization.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and measure printed components for accuracy and surface quality; adjust printer settings or processes as needed.
  • Material Management: Select, load, and manage printing materials and inventory; coordinate orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure printer reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Post-Processing: Clean, sand, assemble, or otherwise finish printed parts to meet design and aesthetic requirements.
  • Assembly: Construct and assemble prototypes, ensuring precise alignment, functionality, and design integrity.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of print jobs, materials used, and process settings for future reference and process improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineers, designers, and R&D teams to prototype new products and refine designs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance print speed, consistency, and quality.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
  • 1–2+ years of experience with FDM 3D printing (personal or professional).
  • Proficiency with slicing software (e.g., Cura, Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, Prusa Slicer).
  • Experience with CAD or 3D modeling software (e.g., Solid Works, Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender).
  • Ability to work safely around machinery and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Salary or Pay Range: $69,000 - $79,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas:
Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
