The Fountain Group is currently seeking a
Machining/Machine Operator
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Henderson, CO
. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Payrate: $24/hr W2
- Duration: 6 months contract (possible extension based on performance & budget).
- Shift: Mon-Thurs; 6am – 4:30pm.
- Seeking a reliable and motivated individual who is comfortable working with machines and tools.
- Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
- This role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Hands-on manufacturing operator with machine & tool experience being ideal — Comfortable operating production equipment with limited supervision, using hand and power tools, basic measurement equipment (micrometers, bore gauges), performing inspections, cleaning, polishing, and following documented work instructions while meeting cycle-time and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Machine Experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility/GMP is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement equipment (micrometers, bore gauges).
- Performs quality inspections, Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
- In this area technicians rotate within the work stations in this area.
- Operations include power wash cleaning of cranks and cylinder blocks.
- Detailed inspection of crankshafts. Use of basic polishing machine.
- Manual cleaning of cylinder block surfaces, and threaded holes, using power tools and abrasives.
- Detailed inspection of the cylinder block.
- Use of cranes and basic measurement equipment (bore gauges, micrometers).
- Follow documented instructions.
- Record process results as needed.
- More skilled operator in this area will operate a milling machine.
- Support problem solving investigations.
- All of above while following all HSE requirements.
