Journeyman Howick Operator Mytikas Steel

The Journeyman Howick Operator independently operates Howick steel framing machines to produce accurate, high‑quality steel frame components and building supplies. This role performs machine setup and adjustments, completes routine checks, troubleshoots fundamental issues, and adheres to safety and quality standards to support consistent production output.

• Operate Howick steel framing machines to produce steel frame components and building supplies.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure precision and reduce material waste.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fundamental operational issues to maintain smooth production flow.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report issues to the Howick Operator Team Lead.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain safety compliance and a clean, organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience operating CNC machines or similar equipment, preferably in steel framing or modular construction.
• Proficiency operating Howick steel framing machines or similar equipment.
• Strong blueprint/technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Experience with routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.

• Associate’s degree in mechanical technology or related field.
• OSHA‑approved forklift certification.

• Onsite at Mytikas Industries’ production facility in Florence, Colorado.
• Production‑driven environment; PPE required.

  4 days per week, 10‑hour shifts (40 hours total).
