Master Howick Operator Mytikas Steel

The Master Howick Operator oversees operation of Howick steel framing machines for complex steel frame designs and building supplies. This role drives process optimization, advanced troubleshooting, and quality outcomes while training and mentoring junior operators. The position is critical to production efficiency, material utilization, and consistent adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Oversee and operate Howick steel framing machines for complex designs and production requirements.
• Optimize machine operations to improve efficiency and minimize material waste.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced operational issues to maintain production continuity.
• Train and mentor Entry- and Mid-Level Howick Operators on technical skills and best practices.
• Verify that produced components meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production managers and engineering teams to align operations with project goals.
• Lead process improvements and implement solutions to enhance production outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and enforce safety protocols.

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines, including at least 2 years in steel framing or modular construction.
• Expert proficiency operating Howick steel framing machines or similar equipment.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proven capability in process optimization and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills; effective communication and collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical technology, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA‑approved forklift certification.
• Onsite at Mytikas Industries’ production facility in Florence, Colorado.
• Leadership‑focused production environment; PPE required.
• Schedule:
  
  4 days per week, 10‑hour shifts (40 hours total).
