Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and warehouse management systems
- Conduct regular daily cycle counts, root cause analysis, and reconciliation of inventory variances
- Monitor material flow and coordinate with procurement and production to ensure adequate stock levels
- Manage incoming and outgoing material transactions, including work orders, adjustments, and transfers
- Support physical inventory counts and audits
- Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in inventory handling
- Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and tracked according to company standards
- Assist supervisor in overseeing the daily production and assembly of Warning Whips products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time completion
- Train, guide, and support team members in assembly processes and safety protocols
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to address product issues or improvement opportunities
- Assist Supervisor in tracking production output, maintaining schedules, and ensuring proper allocation of materials
- Inspect finished goods to verify quality and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate with Shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste in the Warning Whips area
- All duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred - 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or production coordination
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, lead, and motivate team members
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with light manufacturing or assembly
- Commitment to accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs occasionally
- Prolonged periods standing or walking in a warehouse or production environment
- Use of standard warehouse tools, scanners, and computer equipment
This position operates in both warehouse and light manufacturing settings. PPE may be required in certain areas
