Job DescriptionAs an Assembly Technician at Arete, you will be responsible for building optical subassemblies for the AIRTRAC laser. You will follow detailed assembly procedures to produce production‑level builds using various tools and epoxy. You will work in a cleanroom setting with a team of production technicians, engineers, and scientists. You will be involved with the handling and cleaning of sensitive and valuable optics.
A strong attention to detail and fine motor skills are required. This position requires the use of equipment, such as a multimeter, to measure laser subassembly parameters. This position is based in our Niwot, CO office. This is a non‑exempt, non‑supervisory, part‑time, temporary position.

The salary for this role is $28.00/hour; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
