Medical Equipment Painter – Prescott's Med

This position will support Prescott's, Inc.
It will be worked onsite at our facility in Monument, CO.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
- Mix paint and other materials according to specifications
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even and thorough coverage
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemical substances
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Create production plans and deliver in team meetings
- Maintain inventory of painting materials and notify supervisors of any shortages
- Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed
- Document work performed and report any issues to management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2+ years of experience in painting or a similar role
- Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation, a plus
- Ability to work with various painting tools and equipment, including spray paint guns
- Experience painting medical supply parts, a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to identify imperfections and ensure quality control of painted surfaces
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 20 pounds)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach for items above head, twist, and kneel
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in an environment where there is exposure to automotive type paints/solutions (PPE will be provided)
Pay Rate: $24.04 per hour
