About This Role
Intermountain Electric Inc. (IME) is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team in Colorado.

The Project Manager leads project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting on commercial and industrial electrical projects, with quality standards as a top priority.
What You ll DoKey Responsibilities- Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans (scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines). Allocate necessary resources (human and material) to ensure successful execution. Coordinate and manage the project team including subcontractors. Assign tasks, set expectations, and guide the team to ensure efficient utilization and milestone adherence. Monitor risks, resolve issues promptly, and adapt plans to minimize disruptions. - Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality procedures. Conduct inspections and collaborate with stakeholders to address quality concerns. Monitor progress and hold regular status meetings. Keep the project on schedule and ensure documents are complete. - Budget Management:
Manage project financials (forecasting, cost control), minimize risk, review and negotiate client contracts, and monitor resource utilization. Quantify impacts of design or construction changes and notify stakeholders. - Collaborative Leadership:
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, provide exceptional service, support IME culture of safety. - Industry Networking:
Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrate integrity and ethics with internal and external stakeholders.

What You ll BringKnowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong ability to complete due diligence and risk assessment
- Impeccable integrity and ethics with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices
- Excellent communication skills to articulate messages, persuade, and explain complex information to diverse audiences
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites frequently
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Blue Beam, Accubid)
- Proven ability to manage projects to completion on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of electrical construction in large-scale commercial environments
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of market trends
- Thorough understanding of safety standards in electrical construction
- 5+ years of industrial and/or commercial electrical project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, related field, or equivalent
The majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. Conditions may include extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and other typical site factors. You may visit multiple locations in one day.

Salary Range$102,000 - $138,000 per year. Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
