Position Overview

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading, motivating, accountability, and development of Master Corp personnel on the assigned site to meet quality, timeliness, and budget objectives. They develop and maintain professional relationships with resort management, vendors, and service providers, and ensure company mission and values are followed.

Essential Functions
  • Takes ownership for the successful operation of assigned property, working collaboratively with business partners to ensure KPIs and other performance goals are achieved.
  • Walks the site daily to ensure that contractual obligations, company policies, standards and processes are being followed.
  • Monitors key performance indicators of Quality, Timeliness and Budget and works with the team to achieve targets, holding them accountable and developing action plans when needed.
  • Maintains proper inventory of tools and chemicals, ensuring equipment is in good operating condition and replaced per schedule.
  • Provides routine updates to leadership and fulfills meeting frequency and information expectations.
  • Acts as a change leader, championing organizational changes to reach short and long‑term goals.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to maintain an active recruiting strategy, monitoring staffing levels and ensuring they remain adequate.
  • Partners with Learning and Development and Field HR to secure onboarding, training, and retention strategies, working with AEHs and Lead Supervisors to ensure correct procedures and programs.
  • Interviews, selects, onboard, and trains site personnel.
  • Manages performance of AEHs and other personnel, including coaching, development, disciplining as needed, and preparing annual performance reviews.
  • Establishes and maintains a welcoming culture of engagement and inclusion.
  • Responds promptly to associate concerns, addressing them directly or referring to others.
  • Provides ongoing performance feedback to Housekeepers, Housemen, and Supervisors.
  • Consistently enforces established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures policies such as Master Talks, STS, grooming/uniform standards, and “7‑steps to clean” training are followed.
  • Coordinates monthly and quarterly meetings, including Housekeeper Councils and all‑hands meetings; conducts QA audits to identify deficits and improve quality.
  • Ensures a safe working environment through safety committee meetings, training, and best practices.
  • Maintains a transportation strategy for the site, ensuring vehicles, drivers, safety protocols, and asset maintenance follow policy.
  • Effectively communicates the company objectives to the management team via scheduled site manager meetings.
  • Builds a professional relationship with resort management and key resort staff, communicating frequently.
  • Develops a customer‑first culture and displays professional behavior toward Master Corp clients and guest owners.
  • Conducts business ethically and transparently.
  • Complies with Resort Operations 15 Non‑negotiables without fail.
  • Uses Master Mind Mobile to update room status for all Housekeepers and Supervisors.
  • Responds quickly to changing priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in a field directly related to this position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years of progressive management responsibility.
