Retail & Store Manager, Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Branch Manager leads the branch team and is responsible for business development, operational integrity, member satisfaction, and staff performance. This role ensures alignment with credit union goals while creating a culture of service and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and vision for the branch team.
- Achieve branch goals related to deposits, loans, service levels, and member growth.
- Coach and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations and development plans.
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Represent the credit union in the community and foster member relationships.
- Oversee security, facilities, staffing, and budgeting for the branch.
- Perform a full range of teller transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- 5+ years of retail banking or credit union experience, including supervisory roles.
- Proven track record in business development and team leadership.
- Excellent knowledge of financial products, branch systems, and compliance.
- Ability to drive performance, build culture, and lead with empathy and accountability.
- Flexibility to travel between branches with short notice.
- Ability to travel to various branches.
