Maintenance Technician

Description

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa rests on 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado. Amenities include lodging, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, full service spa, and air tours.

Full-time, year‑round position. Compensation: $20.00-$22.00 per hour.

• Assist in maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments in a timely basis.
• Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all‑building equipment and rooms.
• Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the Property Operations Manager.
• Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
• Check work orders and night reports for any problems. Make rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns.
• Schedule work in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms, coordinating with Rooms Director.
• Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
• Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor in regards to routine and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Ensure security of any assigned keys.

• Working knowledge of power and hand tools, meters, etc. related to the technical trades.
