Position Summary

Eleven is seeking a qualified and motivated mechanic to assist with the overall maintenance of the vast fleet of various vehicles and equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing routine services on company equipment. The mechanic will work closely with multiple operations to ensure the proper and safe operation of all related equipment. This position requires a minimum of 3 years mechanical experience, high school diploma or GED equivalent and a clean MVR.

The ideal candidate will have an industry related degree or vocational/trade school certificate. This is a full time year round, benefitted, salaried position that will pay between $60k - $80k per year, depending on experience and qualifications. For more company information please visit

Position Purpose

Maintain and repair all fleet and all stationary equipment.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on all vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any issues that arise in a timely manner.
• Maintain vehicle records by using service and repair logs.
• Track inventory and order new parts when required.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services on all backup generators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose all generator and backup power system issues that may arise.
• Monitor battery voltage at all buildings and ensure generators are in the proper mode.
• Monitor propane levels at all buildings.
• Ensure proper function of the repeater.
• Monitor underground fuel tank Veederoot ATG system for any faults or deficiencies.
• Ensure proper use of fuel log.
• Inspect fuel pumps and hoses for leaks.
• Prepare site for annual inspections by EPA and State of Colorado.
• Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs.
• Keep a safe, organized, and tidy workspace.
• Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist daily operations with unforeseen events by supporting coworkers, other departments, and being a good team player.
• Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines, as well as common sense safety requirements.
• Use company Apps in accordance with administrative SOP's.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associates degree or vocational/trade school certification preferred.
• Familiarity with common mechanic tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiar with the Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Special Position Requirements

• Clean MVR, valid driver's license.
• Basic first aid and CPR.
• Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, problem solver, decisive, adaptable, reliable, punctual.

Preferences

• Possesses own tools
• Ability to read and comprehend both electrical and hydraulic schematics

Work Requirements

• Ability to work in physically demanding positions, stand on feet for prolonged periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid passport in order to travel to both domestic and foreign destinations as needed to provide mechanical support.
