Work Environment / LocationYoung Adult Residential Treatment Program | Boulder, Colorado.
ScheduleFull-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (On-call as needed for emergencies).
Compensation$24.00 - $29.00 Per Hour depending on skills and experience.
AboutThe Role
The Lead Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our healthcare facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards. This hands-on position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting facility issues, and supporting facility improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skill set, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure that healthcare facilities are fully operational, safe, and well-maintained.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with minor repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance efforts.
- Respond efficiently to maintenance requests, troubleshooting facility issues as they arise.
- Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate facility repairs and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, safety compliance, and equipment servicing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards for facility maintenance.
- Foster a team-oriented culture and support staff in maintaining a high standard of facility operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Safety & Compliance Awareness:
- Understanding of healthcare-related safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to company and industry safety protocols.
- Time Management & Prioritization:
- Strong ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective planning of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Ability to work closely with healthcare staff, facility leadership, and vendors to coordinate maintenance tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to document maintenance work and provide updates.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to track work orders, schedule tasks, and maintain maintenance records.

- Candidates must have a valid driver's license in good standing with no significant violations or restrictions within the last 3 years.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs., perform repetitive motions, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, high noise levels, and varying temperatures.
- Use of personal protective equipment as required.
- Work may involve exposure to contagious or infectious diseases.
