IT Support Technician Chaffee

The IT Support Technician serves as the first point of contact for the IT Service Desk, providing Tier 1 and technical support to Chaffee County employees across multiple departments. This position is responsible for installing computer hardware and software, maintaining inventory, troubleshooting technical issues, resolving service requests submitted through the IT ticketing system, and escalating priority issues as needed. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one (1) year of experience working with current computer technologies, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Industry certifications such as CompTIA, ISC2, or similar credentials are preferred.

This position is full-time, non-exempt, hourly with a wage range of $21.95 to $26.88 DOE.
