Salary: $75,000-$85,000 (DOE)

100% Onsite – Greater Denver Area
Our client is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to serve as a key technical resource in a predominantly on-premise environment. This individual will oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, support internal staff with technical needs, and help ensure the stability, security, and performance of core IT systems. The ideal candidate enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving technical challenges, and keeping critical systems running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Act as an escalation point for internal IT support requests, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Maintain and support internal server infrastructure, including Windows-based servers, storage, and backup systems
Oversee user account management, permissions, and security groups within Active Directory
Keep network equipment operating reliably, assisting with switch, router, and wireless access point administration
Configure and support employee workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Assist in administering Microsoft 365 services in a hybrid on-prem environment
Support virtualized server platforms and perform routine system health checks
Apply system updates, security patches, and endpoint protection tools
Partner with external vendors for hardware procurement and technical issue resolution
Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure configurations and support procedures
Participate in IT improvement projects and scheduled maintenance windows
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or system administration
Practical experience supporting on-prem Windows Server environments
Proficiency with Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting
Experience supporting end-user devices and business applications
Familiarity with virtualization technologies
Strong troubleshooting mindset and service-oriented communication style
Ability to work independently in a small IT team environment
Nice to Have
Exposure to Microsoft 365 hybrid deployments
Experience with backup and recovery tools
Basic knowledge of firewalls or VoIP systems
