Position Overview

Hunter Douglas is seeking a highly motivated AI Data Analyst to join our Digital Transformation & Advanced Analytics team. This role is ideal for an analytical and curious individual who is passionate about data, AI, and automation, and who wants to contribute to building the data and insight foundations that power our next‑generation AI‑driven supply chain and business control towers.

As an AI Data Analyst, you’ll collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that our AI models, dashboards, and automation tools are built on clean, well‑structured, and reliable data. You’ll also support the design and testing of AI prompts, assist in developing analytical visualizations, and help operationalize insights across Hunter Douglas’s business functions.

What you’ll do
  • Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources to support data science and analytics initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, completeness, and consistency for AI and analytics models.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to prepare training and validation datasets for machine learning and predictive modeling.
  • Support the creation, testing, and optimization of AI prompts for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
  • Assist in building AI‑enabled dashboards and control towers that provide real‑time visibility into supply chain, operations, and commercial performance.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for automation or efficiency gains.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to document data sources, lineage, and governance standards.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations and performance metrics to communicate insights effectively to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI analytics tools, data management technologies, and visualization techniques, and contribute ideas for innovation.
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related technical role (internships or co‑op experience welcome).
  • Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, R, or Power Query.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Understanding of data wrangling, ETL processes
    , and relational databases.
  • Basic familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., prompt engineering, generative AI, or predictive analytics).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a curiosity for discovering insights in data.
