Description

Background:

Cherry Hills Country Club, founded in 1922, is a family friendly Club with over 700 members. Facilities include a renowned championship golf course, a full-service golf shop, driving range, practice facilities, halfway house, and Par 3 course: eight outdoor tennis courts incorporating two pickleball courts, tennis shop, a family pool complex with café, junior Olympic size swimming pool and an active children’s club.

Summary

At Cherry Hills Country Club, our Door / Valet Parking Attendants / Bag drop are responsible for creating the first and last impressions of our Club. We are seeking an individual who is engaging and enthusiastic about the opportunity to build rapport and exceed the expectations of our members and guests while actively greeting them upon arrival or departure and parking or retrieving their vehicles.

The ideal candidate has an excellent sense of urgency and eagerly anticipates the needs of others. Part-time and on-call opportunities are available. Please note our Club has a non-tipping policy and gratuities can not be accepted in this role.

  • Create a welcoming experience at the porte cochere by opening clubhouse and vehicle doors upon arrival and departure. Verbally greet all members and guests when not actively parking or retrieving vehicles.
  • Ensure smooth traffic flow among Clubhouse entrances by directing vehicles and pedestrians appropriately and communicating parking procedures clearly.
  • Assist Golf and Outside Services with golf bag drop-off and pick-up. Maintain clear, professional, and timely radio communication between Valet/Bag Drop, Locker Room, Welcome House, and Golf/Outside Services to ensure seamless coordination of member/guest arrivals, departures, tee times, bag handling, and special requests.
  • Provide support to Welcome House & Security departments during high-volume periods or staff absences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drive area.
  • Always uphold professional uniform and personal appearance standards. Issue valet tickets and assess vehicles for pre-existing damage.
  • Accurately document damage and parking location on claim tickets.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles strategically while adhering to all traffic regulations, speed limits, and pedestrian safety protocols.
  • Organize and secure keys and claim tickets in designated areas.
  • Maintain vehicle security and confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Report incidents, accidents, or errant golf balls to leadership immediately.
  • Assist members and guests with inquiries regarding Club services, events, programming, hours of operation, and personnel.
  • Provide directions or personally escort members to destinations within the Clubhouse.
  • Provide weather-related assistance (umbrellas, snow removal, leaf blowing, etc.).
  • Assist with lifting or staging wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, and other items.
  • Support Food & Beverage with carry-out orders and Reception with curbside service requests.

Requirements

A valid Colorado driver’s license.

  • A good driving record and ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospitality setting as a Valet Parking Attendant. Experience in luxury hotel or restaurant is preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team – with or without supervision.
  • Ability to work in various elements outside for long periods of time – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Availability to work a varying schedule – able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays.
Compensation & Benefits

This is a seasonal position offered at $19 per hour.

  • Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
