Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa rests on 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado. 72‑room luxury resort with amenities that include lodging, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, full‑service spa & air tours.

Resort Culinary Team hiring Line Cooks / Prep Cooks.

• Prepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and resort policies and procedures.
• Ensure all prep work is maintained throughout the shift.
• Maintain excellent working knowledge of department menu items, ingredients and recipes.
• Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify deficiencies and maintain through the shift.
• Prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
• Organize all various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
• Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by health department and resort requirements.
• Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
• Assist with inventories as scheduled.
• Assist in plating banquet hot meals as assigned.
• Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
• Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned.

• Two year's experience in a similar position.
• Culinary line or prep cook experience.
• Technical culinary abilities, proficient knife skills, progressive cook styles and abilities.
• Experience in the hospitality industry or a similar position.

• Seasonal position - $18.00 - $21.00/hour plus gratuity.
