- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Must have completed an IV Certification course - Licenses/Certification: EMT-B/IV/AEMT with BLS, IV Certification, Colorado EMT required (National certification preferred). EMT-Intermediate/Paramedic with BLS, ACLS, PALS, Colorado EMT required (National Certification preferred).
- Work with a Registered Nurse to complete procedures to support therapeutic or diagnostic interventions.
- Take primary accountability in assisting the patient and family with activities of daily living.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care to continually support the comfort and satisfaction of patients and families.
Occasionally (1‑33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs; lifting (0‑20) lbs, carrying (0‑20 lbs), pushing/pulling (25‑50 lbs).
Frequently (34‑66%) - Standing, changing position, reaching, reaching across midline, handling, fingering.
Continuously (37‑100%) - Must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance.
Compensation: $20.84 – $23.40/hr, depending on experience.
