Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations at our Edgewater, Colorado location. This role is responsible for overseeing pharmacy staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional patient care, and driving business performance. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a passion for community pharmacy, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee all day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety
  • Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage scheduling
  • Foster a positive, patient-centered culture within the pharmacy
Clinical & Patient Care
  • Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of prescription medications
  • Provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, and drug interactions
  • Administer immunizations in accordance with Colorado state regulations
  • Promote medication therapy management (MTM) and clinical services
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping and documentation standards
  • Oversee inventory management, controlled substances, and loss prevention
  • Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections
Financial & Business Performance
  • Manage pharmacy budget, payroll, and expense control
  • Monitor KPIs including prescription volume, margin, and customer satisfaction
  • Implement strategies to grow prescription count and clinical service offerings
  • Maintain strong relationships with providers, vendors, and the local community
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Colorado
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

    D) required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of pharmacy experience; prior management experience preferred
  • Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in community/retail pharmacy management
  • Strong business acumen and performance management skills
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
