Overview
Title: Travel Registered Dietitian | PACE Program | No Weekends!
Location: Eckert, CO (Western Slope)
Pay: ~$2,000 Weekly Gross ($1,246 Tax-Free Stipend + Hourly)
The Opportunity: Join the first PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provider in Western Colorado. This is not a typical bedside hospital role. In this position, you will work holistically to help seniors age in place, assessing nutritional needs in both our center and their homes.

Assignment Details- Setting: PACE Center & Home Visits (Community Health)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekends!)
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- EMR: Care Hub & Elation
- Conduct nutrition assessments for participants ages 55+ (approx. census 170).
- Perform home visits to identify root causes of nutritional issues (e.g., food insecurity, inability to cook).
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to create care plans.
- Oversee the dining program and supervise the Dietary Aide.
- Coordinate with contracted meal services to ensure dietary compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
- Licensure: Active CDR Registration (RD/RDN).
Note:
Colorado is a non-licensure state; your CDR is your license. - Experience: Minimum 1 year working with the frail/elderly population (Geriatric, LTC, or Community Health experience preferred).
- Transportation: Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (for home visits).
- Medical: Up-to-date immunizations and ability to clear a background check/drug screen.
