Physical Therapist

Overview

Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Physical Therapist for their Salida, CO location.

• Performing Duties within the Physical Therapist’s Scope of Practice
• Examining patients:
  Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
• Based on the results, determine the diagnosis, prognosis, and necessary intervention strategies.
• Designing therapeutic interventions:
  Create and modify therapeutic plans to alleviate impairments and functional limitations, helping patients regain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Preventing health issues:
  Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities by promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups.
• Consultation, education, and research:
  Engage in sharing knowledge with colleagues and the community, as well as contributing to the latest research in physical therapy practices.
• Maintaining patient records:
  Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered.

• Minimum 2 years experience in Outpatient Clinic and dry needling certification required.
• The Physical Therapist must have completed training in accordance with minimum essential for physical therapy schools as prescribed by Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of American Medical Association.
• Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy.
• Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
• Active license for the state of Colorado.
• Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
• Current CPR Certification.
